WHAT IS GAMEATHON?

Gameathon is a 24-hour event organized by the Department of Information Science and Engineering of JIT. It is a platform for aspiring developers to bring together their ideas into a game that they can call their own. This event also offers attractive prizes to the developers that create a working game that fits the given theme.

WHO IS IT ORGANISED BY?

It is organized by BitsNBytes, Department of Information Science and Engineering - Jyothy Institute of Technology.

PRIZES?

All the participants will be awarded e-certificates. There will be cash prizes for winners in different categories.

WHAT IS THE MODE OF GAMEATHON?

Due to the pandemic, this year’s Gameathon will be held online to avoid any contact risks. (// The participants are also recommended to build their games on Unity since it is free and powerful software.)

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF GAMEATHON?

It serves as an outstanding opportunity for students who are focusing on developing their skills in various user interfaces. A platform to Envisage . Invent . Play.

WHAT IF I AM A BEGINNER, BUT INTERESTED TO PARTICIPATE?

There is a session comprising 12 hours of thorough training to help in the basic development of skills in various platforms required for building a game.
